Write a Story Start off the task by providing a beginning sentence to get the story started, and then go around the classroom from student to student, getting each one to add a new sentence to keep the story going. This task should be done spontaneously, allowing only a little time to think, while the other students write down the sentences in order so that they can read them back to the teacher later.
