FS- 13 Brakes<br />

FS-14 Weight<br />

A. Drum brakes can be converted to disc brakes using factory components only.<br />

A. 4 wheel drive trucks must weigh at least 4000 pounds.<br />

B. 2 wheel drive trucks must weigh at least 3750 pounds.<br />

C. Minimum weights are measured including driver as they come off track.<br />

D. Minimum weights may be measured before going on track as well.<br />

FS-15 Engine<br />

A. No aluminum heads of any type are allowed. Only OEM cast iron heads are allowed.<br />

Aftermarket heads, to include Ford <strong>Racing</strong>, Mopar and GM Performance Parts are not<br />

permitted.<br />

B. Engine block must be OEM production cast iron block. Aftermarket blocks, to include Ford<br />

<strong>Racing</strong>, Mopar and GM Performance Parts blocks are not permitted.<br />

C. Maximum engine size is 360 cubic inches. Displacement formula for technical purposes is<br />

(Bore/2) x (Bore/2) x 3.14159 x Stroke x # of cylinders. All measurements are made in<br />

inches and rounded to the nearest thousandth.<br />

D. Commercially available aftermarket cast intake manifolds are allowed. No external<br />

modifications are allowed on the intake manifold. No fabricated intake manifolds are allowed.<br />

E. Any fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator may be used.<br />

FS-16 <strong>Oil</strong> System<br />

A. All trucks with an electric fuel pump must have power to the fuel pump routed through an AC<br />

Delco low-oil-pressure switch (AC DELCO #25036938) to cut off power to the fuel pump in<br />

the event the engine stops.<br />

B. Any oil coolers, if used, must be located outside of the cab, and between the frame rails.<br />

C. No oil lines are allowed inside the cab.<br />

FS-17 Electrical<br />

A. Battery may be relocated, but must not be inside cab.<br />

B. All vehicles must have a master on/off switch wired to the battery in a manner that will cut off<br />

all electrical power and the engine.<br />

C. Master switch must be labeled, have a red circle around it, be located on the left hand side of<br />

the dash panel and must be accessible from the outside of the race vehicle. Red circle must<br />

be at least 1 inch wide.<br />

D. A working stock OEM alternator for the make and model of truck is required.<br />

E. A momentary switch is allowed for priming fuel system while engine is not running.<br />
