COMMUNITY SERVICES
Balmoral Planned Activity Group (BPAG)
The goal of the BPAG is to assist people
to live in their homes and community as
independently as possible.
Independence refers to the capacity of
people to manage the day to day
activities of their daily life and make
decisions about their life. BPAG provides
programs to ensure that clients are able
to gain the greatest level of
independence they can achieve. Equally
they must be as actively involved in
making decisions about their life as
possible. Such decisions include: the
type of events they wish to attend, guest
speakers on a wide range of different
subjects and visiting many different
locations in the area. This assists client
independence which is supported by the
Active Service Model.
