1. Welcome and Apologies<br />
The Chairman welcomed <strong>RCSA</strong> members and representatives from the Event Sponsor MyCareer to<br />
the meeting. An apology from Julie Mills <strong>RCSA</strong> CEO, due to ill health, was noted.<br />
2. Regional President’s Report 2007<br />
Andrew Smith read the Regional President’s Report for 2007, highlighting a number of activities and<br />
achievements for the region during the year.<br />
• Past President and <strong>RCSA</strong> Board Director Beryl Rowan (M<strong>RCSA</strong>) awarded Life Membership<br />
of <strong>RCSA</strong>.<br />
• Retirement from the SA Council of Robin Tarr.<br />
• The inaugural <strong>RCSA</strong> Career-One <strong>Recruitment</strong> Awards of Excellence held at the Advertiser<br />
Building in March 2007.<br />
• Regular <strong>RCSA</strong> breakfasts and other events.<br />
• A series of OH&S breakfasts coordinated by SA Council member Greg Saunders.

• <strong>RCSA</strong> National goals and objectives, increased professional accreditation and CPD,<br />
adherence to the Code of Professional Practice and expanding the role of <strong>RCSA</strong> as the<br />
“Industry Voice to Government.<br />
• Recent changes with new 457 Visa constraints.<br />
• Expanding the programme of <strong>RCSA</strong> events for local members and continuing professional<br />
development.<br />
• Support and contribution of the local <strong>RCSA</strong> committee.<br />
3. Consolidated Financial Report for the <strong>Association</strong> for the year to 30 June 2007.<br />
A copy of the of the Consolidated Financial Report, together with the Directors’ Report and the Audit<br />
Report were tabled and distributed to members.<br />
4. Appointment of members of the <strong>RCSA</strong> South Australian Regional Council.<br />
In accordance with the rules of the <strong>RCSA</strong>, the following persons were elected to the <strong>RCSA</strong> SA<br />
Regional Council for a two year term to conclude at the 2009 Regional General Meeting.<br />

Members noted SA Council members elected last year (2006) who were continuing in office to the<br />

5. <strong>RCSA</strong> National Update.<br />
In the absence of the <strong>RCSA</strong> CEO Julie Mills, George Lambrou presented the <strong>RCSA</strong> national update<br />
report to members.<br />
6. Event Sponsor and <strong>RCSA</strong> Supporter - MyCareer<br />
Kelliann Walker from MyCareer gave a presentation on current developments and initiatives being<br />
introduced by the organisation. The Chairman thanked representatives from MyCareer for their<br />
attendance at the regional meeting and for their support of the association.<br />
7. General Business<br />
No General Business was discussed.<br />
