Commercial construction often has a requirement to
reflect the building module into the ceiling design to
allow flexible segmentation of the interior. Armstrong
offers a range of ceiling options that perfectly meets this
need. Modular and One Way systems provide the clean
monolithic visual of a fully concealed system with the
practicality, and robustness of a two way system.
The specific characteristics of Armstrong Modular and
One Way acoustic ceilings offer the specifier, the installer
and the end user the following benefits:
• Choice of module size including: 1200, 1350, and
1500mm systems.
• Choice of mineral fibre designs and various
performance options.
• Choice of Armstrong MetalWorks panels with a
range of perforation options to satisfy various
acoustical needs and also the specific requirements of
chilled beam air management systems.
• Simple installation and demountability of the patented
Armstrong Blue Tongue suspension grid components,
without the use of power tools.
• Integration of mechanical services.
• Simple access to services and plenum without
damaging panel.s
• Direct attachment of partitions.
• Simple Integration of Armstrong Axiom range of
perimeter and pelmet solutions.
Modular Systems
Features include:
• Square grid module, with choice of 3, 4 or 5 accessible
panels, depending on module size.
• Less exposed grid than standard “two way” system.
• Robust “top hat” primary and secondary profiles
produced from extruded aluminium with durable
powdercoat finish.
• Clean Mitred grid intersections.
• Low life cycle costing of traditional two way system.
• Flexibility of rotating light fixtures by 90 degrees*.
