The CVCC Alumni and Friends Association is
in search of
the 2012
Outstanding
Alumnus
In each of the last 18 years, the CVCC Alumni and Friends Association
has recognized a former student of Central Virginia Community College
as an outstanding alumnus. Those selected in the past have distinguished
themselves through outstanding achievement in professional, academic,
or personal life, or in service to the College, as judged by the Alumni Board.
The Association is seeking your help in finding a CVCC alumnus who meets
the criteria for this special award. The candidate selected will be honored
at the May, 2012, commencement ceremonies and, by tradition, deliver the
commencement address. His or her name will be permanently displayed
alongside past recipients and he or she will, henceforth, be an official ambassador
of Central Virginia Community College.
Eligibility Requirements
The nominee must meet one of the following conditions:
1) Completed a degree, diploma, or certificate or;
2) Completed at least 15 semester hours of course work numbered 100 or above, or
3) Have been a curricular student and completed 25 percent of the requirements.
