Digital Pressure Altimeter
Function
This digital altimeter senses atmospheric pressure and
displays altitude with high accuracy. The altimeter is
designed specifically for aircraft that do not require static
source pressure correction.
Characteristics
The instrument is driven by atmospheric pressure acting on
dual aneroid diaphragms whose motion is amplified by a
mechanism designed to provide the ultimate in sensitivity,
accuracy, and especially reliability. No electrical power is
required to operate the altimeter. A knob on the front of the
altimeter provides the means for setting barometric pressure.
