The Si<strong>de</strong>kick ® Sync is <strong>de</strong>signed to be a cost effective test meter that will satisfy <strong>the</strong> Telco<br />
<strong>Technician</strong>s’ Outsi<strong>de</strong> Plant and Customer Premise test<strong>in</strong>g needs. This mo<strong>de</strong>l is <strong>in</strong>clusive<br />
of all Si<strong>de</strong>kick ® T&ND features for test<strong>in</strong>g Outsi<strong>de</strong> Plant twisted-pair cables and coax, and<br />
<strong>in</strong>clu<strong>de</strong>s a ADSL2+/VDSL2 mo<strong>de</strong>m for ga<strong>the</strong>r<strong>in</strong>g necessary data.<br />
Auto Test can perform multiple diagnostic tests and displays test<br />
results <strong>in</strong> an easy-to-read manner. Si<strong>de</strong>kick ® Sync also <strong>in</strong>clu<strong>de</strong>s <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>in</strong>dustry standard “Stress Test,” reduc<strong>in</strong>g repeats and improv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong><br />
customer’s experience.<br />
xDSL sync test<strong>in</strong>g is as simple as push<strong>in</strong>g a button. Results are<br />
displayed <strong>in</strong> easy to navigate menus and may be saved for future<br />
review. Not only does <strong>the</strong> mo<strong>de</strong>m sync <strong>with</strong> <strong>the</strong> central office (CO), it<br />
can also emulate <strong>the</strong> central office equipment for test<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> customer<br />
premise. This allows <strong>the</strong> user to test a dry cable pair, ensur<strong>in</strong>g quality of<br />
service before <strong>the</strong> xDSL circuit is activated.<br />
