The South East Asia Glaucoma Interest Group (SEAGIG) was established to facilitate<br />
contact between glaucoma specialists in the region, to encourage collaborative<br />
research and service projects, to increase the opportunities for exchange of skills and<br />
knowledge in this rapidly advancing field, and to assist comprehensive<br />
ophthalmological colleagues and other eye care workers (whether medically trained<br />
or not) to be up to date with advances in all aspects of glaucoma diagnosis and<br />

Angle-closure glaucoma is prevalent in Asia and it is estimated that a half of the<br />
glaucoma patients might have primary angle-closure glaucoma. The aim of the Asian<br />
Angle-Closure Glaucoma Club (AACGC) is to establish a scientific network for the<br />
Asian glaucomatologists who are interested in angle-closure glaucoma in exchange<br />
