ANTI-MICROBIAL PROTECTION
‘Microbes are all around us’ - Some microbes, especially bacteria
present a high contamination risk as they result in the spread of
disease. In recent years, demand has increased considerably for
the products which help control the risk of bacterial contamination.
This is especially true in areas where high standards of hygiene
and cleanliness are both a requirement and a responsibility.
e.g. Hospitals, Medical & Care Centres for children or the elderly.
Our ‘Activate’ antimicrobial ‘hot-dip’ surfaces are hostile to
bacteria. Initial bacteria is reduced significantly by 99.99% after
24 hours of contact with the treated surface and is an excellent
complement to proper cleaning procedures being effective
against the following:
E. Coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Legionella pneumophila,
Salmonella typhimurium and MRSA.
‘HOT-DIP’ NYLON COATING
All the steel products coated using our in-house ‘Hot-dip’ nylon
- 11 fluidized bed process have a finish thickness of approx. 400 microns
that is about 4x thicker than any other powder coating finish.
‘Hot-dip’ nylon has the following distinct advantages:
• Environmentally friendly - extracted from renewable source
and non-toxic.
• ‘Not cold to the touch’ - meeting the DDA requirements.
• Impact resistance - such that when test hammered the steel
tube distorts first.
• Abrasion resistance - about 500 x better than the best
oven-baked paints.

We offer a ‘10 Year Guarantee’ on all our ‘Hot-dip’ nylon
coated products providing that the affected product proves
defective during the normal use for which it is intended due
to faulty materials or workmanship rather than being due to
misuse or fair wear & tear. This guarantee does not affect your
statutory rights.
