Fife below average, only 5 singing birds recorded;
LothianIBorders, suggestion of a slightly better
year; Strathclyde, 5 prs bred L Gruinart reserve,
Islay, up to 16 territories recorded in SW; Dumf &
Gall, 5 prs Wood of Cree. Migration: Shetland, up
to 7 singles 3 May-17 Sep; Lothian, singles
