(max 15°C). Once opened the product should be used within one month and kept well closed at 4°C.
Product features
ROCULT is an off the shelf dry diet available to grow rotifers. It is a formulation based on living yeast that is high in protein, green
algae and algae based HUFA’s. Also the necessary vitamins are supplemented.
By simply mixing with water, a very homogenous suspension of separate cells is obtained, 100% available to the rotifers.
To use in batch, semi-continuous or continuous systems.
With ROCULT the daily production of rotifers is easy, predictable and reliable, both at low and high densities.
Enrichment:
To obtain rotifers with the optimal nutritional composition enrich with MULTIGAIN prior
to feeding to the fish larvae.
Product USE
According to the feeding regime and densities applied, calculate your daily needed quantity. Blend the ROCULT in water up to
100 grams/L for a few minutes with a mixer. Divide the daily quantity into 4 - 6 portions and add to the rotifer culture tank
or feed continuously.
Feed between 0.5 and 0.7 grams of ROCULT per million rotifers/day, depending on temperature and density. Be assured
enough cells are present at all times. In case of optimal water quality, no extra oxygen is required at low densities.
Opened bags should be used within one week and stored in a refrigerator. Unopened, the
product can be kept for at least 12 months after DOM, stored cool.
Product features
Complete dry formula to enrich live feed with all nutrients required by marine larvae or first feeding fresh water species.
MULTIGAIN is a complete formulation specially designed to optimally enrich rotifers and Artemia for feeding (marine) fish
larvae. Special attention has been paid to the specific n-3 and n-6 HUFA needs of these larvae. High doses of vitamin C and
inclusion of well proven immunostimulants protect the young and sensitive larvae against stress and diseases. Also some key
minerals and astaxanthin are part of the formulation.
MULTIGAIN boosts rotifers and Artemia with optimal levels of n-3 HUFA’s, with high DHA (22:6 n-3)/ EPA (20:5 n-3) ratios.
Vitamin C levels of more than 1500 ppm are reached in the live food. As a result healthier and less sensitive fish are produced
with reduced deformity levels.
Product use
Blend the required amount of MULTIGAIN in (warm) water up to 100 grams/L for a few minutes with a mixer.
Rotifers:
Artemia:
• Start with a density of approximate 1000-2000 rotifers/ml
• Temperature: minimum 24˚C
• Oxygen: >5 ppm
• Add 0.1 – 0.2 gram MULTIGAIN per million rotifers. Enrich for 2-4 hours.
If enrichment period is longer split up the total dose into different ratio’s
• Harvest and rinse gently
• Feed immediately or keep stored 5 ppm
• Add 200-250g/m 3 MULTIGAIN at t0; add another 200-250g/m 3 after 8-12 hours
• Harvest after 16-20 hours of enrichment; rinse well
• Feed immediately or keep stored

DOM. Opened bags should be used within one month and stored well closed in a refrigerator.
Product features
Agglomerated larval feed for co-feeding with live feed and for early weaning.
This new production technology allows us to produce rounded feed particles with good buoyancy in the water column. This
results in a better availability to the young larvae requiring specific and complete nutrition. A special coating of the feed
ensures high palatability without compromising on digestibility. Feeding can start very early as of mouth opening, co-fed with
live feed.
When using START, weaning can be done earlier and faster so the need for live feed can be significantly reduced. This results in
a more cost effective and predictable larval output.
Compared to live feed, START is available in the appropriate size range, has the complete nutritional profile and is of constant
quality always off-the-shelf available.
For optimal results at start feeding combine with MULTIGAIN enriched rotifers and/or Artemia. After weaning proceed with
WEAN-EX.
Product use
Best results are obtained by feeding many times small quantities. In the beginning it is advised to feed by hand in excess and observe
carefully if all larvae are feeding. The smallest sizes can be dosed in water, but should be put in water just before feeding.
• START 100:
• START 300:
From day 10-15 onwards up to 50g/m 3 /day
Up to 50-100 g/m 3 /day, to accelerate weaning
Check regularly to ensure that there is enough feed in the water column. In case of overfeeding, increase water exchange to
avoid pollution by uneaten feed.
This is a tentative schedule; it is dependant on the temperature and on growth of the fish, density and sizes.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place. Unopened, the product can be kept for at least 9 months after DOM.
Product features
Extruded granulates for weaning of fish larvae.
WEAN-EX is a high protein extruded feed, based on the highest quality marine proteins and lipids and a minimal amount of
carbohydrates. It meets the nutritional requirements of first feeding larvae and assures high quality fry from the very beginning,
strong and healthy for further growing in the best conditions.
WEAN-EX is a dust free and very stable, highly attractive feed that is easy to use in the automatic feeders.
It has a very narrow size distribution resulting in correct size ranges without the presence of dust.
Product use
Feed between 2 and 6 % of the biomass per day, in relation to temperature and size of the fish.
Feed continuously via automatic feeding systems.
For optimal results it is advised to use START as the first dry feed introduced to the youngest stages. When the larvae are well
adapted to dry feed the switch to WEAN-EX can be made gradually.
The feeding schedule chosen is dependant on temperature, growth and strength of the fish.
A typical feeding guide for marine species:
• Wean-ex 300: from 0.1g onwards
• Wean-ex 500: from 0.2g onwards
• Wean-ex 700: from 0.3g onwards
• Wean-ex 900: from 0.5g onwards
Feeding ad libitum is advised.
