Core Faculty Members Prof. Sangram Mudali, Director B. Tech., from IIT-Kanpur and MS from University of Houston, USA. Worked at B. F. Goodrich Company, Ohio in the area of ‘Computer Aided Design’. Received the JFK Lincoln award during his master’s program and also worked with HCL Technologies in the CAD/CAM division. He is the founder promoter and Director of NIST. He is a member of the Board of Management, Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Orissa. Dr. Ajit Kumar Panda, Dean Received his Ph. D. in Microelectronics from Sambalpur University, M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Was a CSIR Fellow during his Ph.D. Received the BOYSCAST Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and pursued his Post Doctorate at University of Michigan, USA. He is the recipient of ICTP Regular Associate Award for the collaboration work with ICTP Microelectronics Laboratory. He is a member of IEEE, IETE, ISTE, and VLSI Society of India. Mrs. Geetika Mudali, Placement Director B.E. from Osmania University, Hyderabad and MS from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), USA. She is a founder promoter of NIST. She has played a key role in the formation of the Pre-Placement team for the purposeful improvement of soft skills among the students. Dr. Arun Kumar Padhy, Course Coordinator, B. Tech. Received his Ph.D. Degree in Chemistry from Berhampur University. Worked as a project fellow in a UGC sponsored project as University Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Berhampur University, worked as a visiting scientist at the University of Denver, USA, in a US Army Medical Defense project. He is a life member of Indian Chemical Society, Chemical Research Society of India, Indian Council of Chemistry, and patron member of Orissa Chemical Society. Dr. Padhy has qualified NET (CSIR-UGC). He is the reciepient of Dr. R.K.Nanda award and young scientist award conferred by Orissa Chemical Society. Mr. Shom Prasad Das, Course Coordinator, MBA B.E. from NIST, Berhampur. Joined as Software Engineer at NIST Technology Consulting Services at New Delhi office. Worked for Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) as a Project Leader. He is a Life Member of Orissa Information Technology Society (OITS) and member of IEEE (USA). He is also a Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD).He is currently continuing his Ph.D. in the area of ‘Computational Finance’. Mr. Bhawani Shankar Patnaik, Director, NTCS B.E. from NIST, Berhampur. 7 years of experience both in industry as well as teaching. Currently continuing his Ph.D. in the area of ‘ Parameterization, Fault detection and isolation for any process using Bond Graph Modeling and Simulation’ under BPUT. Mr. Sidhharth B. N., Course Coordinator, MCA M. Tech. from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad . He is a Life Member of Orissa Information Technology Society (OITS) and ISTE also a SCWCD and CCNA. He is a core team member of NIST Technology Consulting Services (NTCS). Mr. M. Suresh, M. Tech. Course Coordinator Completed his M.E. from Jadavpur University, B.E. From Andhra University. He has got an experience of more than ten years in the field of Industry & Teaching. Currently he is one of the core members of the NIST VLSI Group. Dr. Sukant K. Tripathy, Associate Prof. Physics Ph.D. in ‘Optical Communication’ from Berhampur University and has more than15 years of teaching experience . Dr. Purna Chandra Biswal, Prof. Mathematics Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Banglore. He is also a CSIR NET Qualified, Having more than 10 years of teaching experience. Has written several books on Discrete Mathematics, Optimization, Probability and Statistics. Dr. Motahar Reza, Asst. Professor, Mathematics Ph.D. in Mathematics, IIT , Kharagpur, M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, Jadavpur University, Calcutta.4 years of Research Experience at IIT, Kharagpur, teaching experience also at IIT, Kharagpur during Ph.D. He is NET Qualified.
