Dr. Sidharth Panda got his paper entitled, “Optimal Supplementary Damping Controller Design
for TCSC Employing RCGA”, published in the International journal, ‘International Journal of
Computational Intelligence’.
Dr. Sidharth Panda got his paper entitled, “Simultaneous Tuning of Static Var Compensator and
Power System Stabilizer Employing Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm”, published in the International
journal, ‘International Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems Engineering’.
Mr. Diptendu Sinha Roy, Faculty, Computer Science and Engineering along with Dr. Ajit Kumar
Panda, Dean and Faculty, Electronics and Communication Engineering published a paper entitled, “Software
Reliability Allocation of Digital Relay for Transmission Line Protection using a Combined
System Hierarchy and Fault Tree Approach”, in the journal, ‘Institute of Engineering and

Dr. Ajit Kumar Panda, Dean and Faculty, Electronics and Communication Engineering, published his

Avalanche Transit Time Device”, in the journal, ‘Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET)
Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation’, Vol. 2, No. 8, pp. 789-793.
Dr. Ajit Kumar Panda published his paper, entitled, “Optimized Ion Implantation Profiles for the p-
n Junction using Fourth Moment Approach for Application in High Frequency VLSI Circuits”,
in the journal, ‘ECTI Transactions on Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications’,
Vol. 6, No. 2, August 2008.
An article of Mr. Suresh Chandra Patnaik, Faculty, Dept. of Management Studies, titled,
“Implementation of Right CRM Strategy for Pharmaceutical Industry” has been selected to be
published in the International Journal, ‘Delhi Business review’, Vol. 9, no.2’. The paper has been already
presented at the 9th International Conference on Management of Transformation.
Mr. Abhro Mukherjee, Faculty, Dept. of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering got his
paper entitled, “Industrial Control of Dancer-Less Take up System for Modern Wire Drawing
Machines with Smart Controllers”, published in the International Journal, ‘Journal of Automation
and Systems Engineering’ (vol. 2, issue- 4, Dec, 2008), Algeria.
Mr. Kanhu Charan Behera, Faculty, Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, presented
a poster on the paper, “Design of a Humidity Sensor with PVT Variation using AMI C5 CMOS
Technology” which got published in the Proceedings of ‘International Conference on Microwave-
08’ which has also a IEEE Reference ID of 978-1-4244-2690-4444/08/$ 25.00@2008 IEEE soon to
be released in the Conference Proceedings of IEEE website.
Dr. Sidhartha Panda, Faculty, Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering got his Research Paper
entitled, “Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm for Robust Coordinated Design of Excitation and SSSC-
Based Controller” accepted for publication in the Journal of Electrical Engineering; presented a poster,
entitled, “Power System Stability Improvement by Differential Evolution Optimized TCSC-Based
Controller” in the 17th International Conference on Computing CIC 2008” held at Mexico City, Mexico,
during 3rd to 5th December 2008. Dr. Sidhartha Panda also presented a paper, entitled, “Simultaneous
