This is one of the most exciting years for the Taste, as we are 

celebrating 25 years of Fun by the Forkful. When the Taste of 

Buffalo began in 1984, the festival included 13 restaurants. This 

year we are proud to host nearly 60 restaurants, 6 wineries and 

an incredible selection of local, regional and national sponsors. 

Thanks to your continued participation, we have grown into one of 

the largest food festivals anywhere in the nation! 

The Taste of Buffalo has certainly changed over the past 25 years, but its purpose 

remains exactly the same. It gives all of us an opportunity to gather in the heart of 

our great city to have fun, to celebrate summer on beautiful Delaware Avenue, and to 

sample delicious offerings from restaurants and wineries from throughout our region. 

It is my sincere pleasure to salute the vast array of dedicated volunteers that make up 

the Taste of Buffalo’s committees and its board of directors. These men and women 

work year-round to make this event one of the region’s, and the nation’s, best festivals. 

Also, we are grateful for the professional support we receive from our project 

coordinator, Promotions ETC., LLC, in helping us make the Taste of Buffalo a little
