Tel Aviv, Israel, September 6, 2009 – Viora, the global leader in the development of
advanced medical aesthetic systems, today announced that the company has
received FDA approval and Class II Clearance for the Reaction aesthetic system,
indicated for body contouring and skin tightening treatments. The approval also
recognizes the system's proprietary CORE TM technology, the industry’s first-ever,
multi-channel RF-based medical device.
Reaction is the only system featuring the new-age CORE (Channeling Optimized
RF Energy) technology that delivers variable RF energy using 3 treatment modes
and a multi-channel mode that incorporates all frequencies simultaneously. The
unique treatment mechanism is combined with vacuum therapy for body contouring,
cellulite reduction and skin tightening treatments, suitable for the face and body. The
availability of different frequency modes optimizes the thermal effect at different
tissue depths and allows the greatest treatment accuracy and flexibility for the
practitioner. Unlike any other device, CORE is the newest development in RFbased
