Instructions to Match Officials and Club Secretaries
Match Officials must report to the venue at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled
kick off time
** indicates mandatory joint travel
Match Officials must wear black or black and white unbranded kit
The FA badge will be worn
If awarded, The FA Representative Badge may be worn
The Fourth Official will take over from the Referee or Assistant Referee, if necessary
The Match Officials fees and expenses are as follows:
o Referee - £45
o Assistant - £30
o 4 th Official - £30
o Mileage - 32p per mile
The Match Officials fees and expenses will be paid by the Home Club in the Match
Officials changing room after the match in cash
In addition, the Referee may claim an overnight allowance of £55. This should be
paid to the Hotel and the VAT receipt forwarded to the Football Conference for
reimbursement
The Referee should contact the liaison officer before selecting Hotel accommodation.
The Home Club must confirm details of the venue and kick off time in writing (E-mail
will suffice) with all the Match Officials
Match Officials must acknowledge receipt of details back to the Home Club
