College <strong>of</strong> Fine and Applied Arts 1997-98 143<br />

Certificate programs can be designed in Afro-American Studies, Life-Span<br />

Development: Adulthood and Aging, Gender Identity and Roles.<br />

Students wishing to major in social work must file an application with the College<br />

<strong>of</strong> Fine and Applied Arts. In addition, a separate application packet must be filed<br />

with the School <strong>of</strong> Social Work. A 2.3 grade point average is required for admission<br />

to the School. Once admitted, the student should maintain a 2.5 grade point<br />

average in social work major courses.<br />

Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. Associate degree, Minor, and certificate<br />

requirements may satisfy some <strong>of</strong> the general electives.<br />
