abuse/neglect. It may contribute to abuse/neglect.<br />
• Abuse/Neglect focus is impact on the child<br />
• Is the child being neglected or at risk of harm due to a<br />
parent’s misuse of drugs or alcohol<br />
• Is the parent allowing the child access to drugs or<br />
alcohol<br />
• Does the newborn have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome<br />
• Has the newborn infant tested positive for drugs
