Our guarantee All first-year students, including postgraduates, are guaranteed a room in University accommodation. See our website for details: www.sheffield.ac.uk/accommodation/ prospective/apply/guarantee Couples and families All our accommodation for couples and families is close to the University, shops and good schools. Contracts are for a full year and you can renew your contract every year so you don’t have to move. Postgraduates and mature students If you’re over 21 and you’d rather be with students your own age, we can help with that. We can also give you a longer contract so you can stay here during the holidays. Just let us know when you apply. Students with special requirements We have rooms adapted for students with special requirements. For instance, if you have a hearing impairment you might need special equipment to tell you when there’s a fire drill. Whatever your needs, let us know when you apply and we’ll take it from there.
