LET’S DANCE!
On Saturday, January 23, our St. James Academy Spirit Team hosted their annual SJA Winter Cheer and Dance Clinic.
e under gym was filled with 66 giggly girls ages kindergarten through sixth grade. Participants learned the SJA Fight
Song routine, a short Hip – Hop dance choreographed by the SJA Spirit Team, and two sideline chants. e Spirit Team
had dinner with the girls, led them in prayer, danced, cheered, and enjoyed doing the “girl thing” all night long! Everyone who
attended the clinic was invited back to perform on January 29 during a Varsity home basketball game. e evening was filled
with fun, fellowship, and lots of laughter. e Spirit Team intentionally tried to create an atmosphere of faith and charity, in
hopes of passing on their enthusiasm for cheer and dance to our next generation of under Fans.
