The course is designed to help pathologists:
Describe criteria for diagnosis of Prostate and Bladder cancer in
order to identify mimickers and variants which may pose relevant
difficulties for differential diagnosis in today’s practice.
Update the current knowledge of WHO and ISUP guidelines for the
classification of Urothelial Neoplasms with a particular attention to the
most recent tumor entities.
Discuss the pathologic features of Mesenchymal tumors and
compare different types of malignant and benign lesions of Soft
Tissue including GIST, fibroblastic lesions, vascular and fat tumors.
Compare and discuss pitfalls that may be encountered in the
evaluation of Bone Tumor pathology.

The Department of Pathology of La Spezia will hold a
three day course focused on update in Diagnostic
Pathology of Prostate, Bladder, Soft Tissue and
Bone.
