46 CHAPTER 2 Licensing 2.1 Introduction J-Link functionality can be enhanced by the features J-Flash, RDI, flash download and flash breakpoints (FlashBP). The flash breakpoint feature does not come with J-Link and need an additional license. In the following the licensing options of the software will be explained. 2.2 Software components requiring a license There are different software components which need an additional license: • J-Flash • J-Link RDI • Flash breakpoints (FlashBP) For more information about J-Link RDI licensing procedure / license types, please refer to the J-Link RDI User Guide (UM08004), chapter Licensing. For more information about J-Flash licensing procedure / license types, please refer to the J-Flash User Guide (UM08003), chapter Licensing.
