Out-of-focus photos could be a thing of the past thanks to
the Lytro, which focuses images after the fact. The Silicon
Valley startup behind the light-field camera says it can
also switch images from 2D to 3D perspectives,
because the 4.4 x 1.6 x 1.6-inch aluminum Lytro
captures every light ray in a scene using a sensor
that creates a “living image.” Currently, the
software for manipulating the images is
only available for Mac.
