DENTAID, a multi-national company specialising in oral health, made its presence at the EuroPerio
7 . For DENTAID, being part of Europe’s leading congress on periodontology was a great opportunity
to transmit the company’s science and research to Vienna, the hub of the Periodontology industry
during June 6-9. This professional backdrop also promoted collaboration and synergy with new markets,
helping to expand international borders, the key to DENTAID’s corporate growth.
DENTAID, Gold Sponsor and Partner of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), had the
opportunity to reveal the results of scientific research carried out by the company’s R&D+i team
through a scientific lecture. The scientific study focused on “Application of
an Artificial Mouth Flow Model for Evaluating Mouth Rinses” with the
objective of characterising a flow model for the in vitro formation of oral
bacterial biofilms, and applying the model to test antiseptic mouthwashes
to prove their effectiveness on the developed biofilms.
In an interview prior to the celebration of EuroPerio’s seventh edition, Dr.
Vanessa Blanc, Director of the Microbiology Department at DENTAID,
described the fundamentals of the company’s scientific focus as well as

Along these same lines, a scientific poster on recent research was also presented. Dr. Gerard Àlvarez,
Microbiologist of DENTAID’s Microbiology Department, personally disclosed the results of the “Use of
Propidium Monoazide (PMA) for Quantification of Live and Dead Cells in Multispecies Oral Biofilms”.
Additionally, over the four day course of the EuroPerio, DENTAID carried out extensive 2.0 coverage.
We wanted to share the different actions that the company conducted from their trade booth to present
new product launches including VITIS implant ® e Interprox ® , as well as that of other oral health products.
Once the congress was over, we gathered all of the information that was spread throughout the different
