OFFICE ORDER
The Competent Authority hereby appoints the under mentioned Staff Car Driver Gr. II
(PB : 1 Rs. 5200 — 20200 + GP : Rs. 2400) on promotion as Staff Car Driver Gr. I (PB : 1 Rs.
5200 — 20200 + GP : Rs. 2800) with immediate effect or from the date they assume charge as
Staff Car Driver Gr. I, whichever is later in the offices indicated against their names below.
The promotions will be until further orders.

2. In case, any of the promotee refuses promotion for whatever reason, he will be
considered for promotion after completion of one year in accordance with the instructions
contained in the DP&AR OM No. 22034/3/81-Estt.(D), dated 1 St October, 1981. Failure to
accept the promotion would also entail the office to take an appropriate action against the
person concerned for refusing to obey orders, in case, the reasons adduced by the official are
not acceptable to the appointing authority.
3. Promotee should give an option for fixation of pay on promotion as Staff Car Driver
Gr. I within one month from the date of issue of this Office Order as required vide Department
of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 1/12/97-Estt.(Pay-I) dated, the 23' April, 1999 circulated
under DGM UOI No. E(3) 134/0C/97 dated, the 10`" September, 1999 and MoF (DoE )
(Implementation Cell ) No. F No.1/1/ 2008-IC dated 13 th Sept., 2008. Option once exercised
shall be final. If, he does n't give any option within the prescribed period, it will be presumed
that he has opted to get his pay fixed directly from the date of promotion.

It is noticed that some promotees who accept promotion, do not indicate their
willingness for promotion in time and start sending representation to the DGM/ Govt. for
revising the positing orders issued by Head of the office. It may also be ensured that promotee
who is ultimately required to go on transfer be relieved in time. Person concerned under order
of transfer on promotion stands relieved immediately. Non-receipt of decision from HQ need
not be a reason for not relieving a transferee. This may be avoided. Departure report of
concerned person who is to go on transfer to another office may be sent to this office at the
earliest on his relieve. Joining report of the promotee may be sent to this office at the earliest.
5. Necessary transfer order wherever applicable may be issued by the respective
controlling offices.
6. Seniority of the promotee will be fixed in accordance with the Govt. orders on the
subject.
