Phase II Findings: General
• The Canadian forest sector is already producing a range
of green and low carbon products
• There are great opportunities to increase this contribution
to increase the value for the sector
• This will not replace the traditional forest industry, but will
be an important supplement. Integrating production is
crucial.
• There are many viable options for converting forest
biomass to energy and chemicals
• Phase I results were validated and expanded
