3.9. ARG2_SOU<br />
This label is applied to the arguments that could be conceived of as a source or the<br />
starting point of the event of the verb. These usually appear with the postposition se<br />
‘from’. In example (29) below, the starting point for the event is Cawa se, hence it is<br />
marked as Arg2_SOU. In example (30), again the argument marked as Arg2_SOU is<br />
the point where the comparison originates (i.e. the source of competition). In example<br />
(31), the Arg2_SOU is the source from which the blessings are requested.<br />
