Information:
initiated a project for the acquisition of 52 aircrafts
(including maintenance and operational needs) to meet
the Primary Trainer Aircraft requirement of Turkish Air
Forces. In this regard, Request for Information (RFI) is
issued by SSM to gather administrative, financial and
technical information for the Primary Trainer Aircraft
systems from relevant companies/organizations for
planning purposes of the Program.
The electronic copy of RFI can be received by the foreign
or domestic companies’ authorized personnel or by the
personnel who is authorized for receiving RFI.
Representation document that includes representation
extent and the authorized personnel’s identity information
shall be submitted to SSM to receive the RFI by the
authorized personnel.
RFI can be obtained from Fixed-Wing Aircraft Head of
Department of SSM (2nd floor, Room: 218) from July 6th
2011 - July 19th 2011, until 17:00, local time.
Answers for the RFI shall be submitted to SSM by an
official letter, as declared within the RFI, until September
5th 2011, 17:00 hours, local time.

Other Issues: 1. SSM reserves the right to make modifications on this
RFI and to change the deadline for the submittal of RFI
responses.
2. This RFI does not commit SSM to issue a Request For
Proposal regarding the contents in this RFI.
3. This RFI does not mean any legal commitment for SSM
to contract for the supplies and services contemplated by
this RFI. Additionally, this RFI does not commit SSM to
open any tender for the system stated herein and
contemplated by this RFI.
4. SSM shall under no condition whatsoever be held liable
to compensate any costs, expenses and/or losses which
may be confronted for the purposes of preparation and
submittal of the responses to this RFI.
5. Companies/Organizations that will receive RFI are
deemed to have accepted all the rules and conditions
stated in this Announcement and RFI.
6. SSM kindly encourages relevant companies/
organizations to respond to the RFI and thanks in
advance for their interest.
