5 AIRPORT<br />
In this chapter adverse condition scenarios and operational consequences are described<br />
which are related to air traffic control causes. For each condition scenario operational<br />
conditions and impact on the <strong>Airport</strong> <strong>CDM</strong> key parameters is determined.<br />
5.1 Aerodrome Capacity<br />
5.1.1 Description<br />
• Basic elements : Almost all items from Impact Assessment action list apply. With<br />
exeption/adjustment of :<br />
- <strong>Airport</strong> : increased security levels , new system procedures.<br />
- Other : only special events, system maintenance apply<br />
Examples on 3 different airports :<br />
• Paris CDG : ATC strikes<br />
• LHR/LGW : winter conditions<br />
• AMS : persistent fog conditions, strong NWly winds<br />
