PRODUCT OVERViEW Technical instructions for the wash basins Installation instructions 1. Built-in wash basins When planning for furniture mounting and spout placement, the asymmetrical position of the spout has to be taken into account. Wall-mounted wash basins When planning the bathroom, the asymmetrical position of the hanger bolts has to be taken into account. Drill bit For drilling the Axor Bouroullec wash basins, we recommend the following tool: • Core bit suitable for stone • Diameter: 35 mm Available: • in retail stores • alternatively at Hansgrohe (article number 19994000) Ø 35 mm max. 19 mm Setting of the machine: • the drill‘s percussion setting must be deactivated 48 49 Cleaning recommendations The wash basins should be cared for as follows: • Only cleaners that are explicitly suitable for this purpose may be used. • Cleaners that contain formic acid, chlorine bleach or acetic acid may not be used, since they can cause considerable damage. • Use polish on the wash basin and wax it (car-care products may be used for this). With regular care, the wash basin will maintain its beauty for a long time. • The wash basin should not be exposed to acids, drain pipe cleaner, hair dye or chlorine. • Should the product for whatever reason be scratched or lose its shine, the above instructions on polishing and waxing should be followed. • In addition, the Hansgrohe cleaning recommendations are to be followed (included with the product or available at pro.hansgrohe.co.uk/cleaningrecommendation)
