SAVING WATER AND ENERGY
WITH TOTAL COMMITMENT
More efficient water usage | Today, hot
water is largely taken for granted. Tailormade
solutions from STIEBEL ELTRON help
you to lower your domestic hot water bills.
The amounts of energy required to heat
water varies enormously. Individual habits,
the conditions in each house, and technical
equipment make all the difference.
Even a modern centralised domestic hot
water system is ineffective if the hot water
has to travel long distances. A large part
of the energy is then wasted in the form of
The quickest way to save | The high
effi ciencies of gas or oil fi red systems almost
always 'end up in smoke' due to their long
supply lines. This is one of the disadvantages
of centralised water heating systems. Even
condensing boilers don't offer any scope for
making further savings. Quite the opposite:
According to experts, rocketing crude oil prices
are expected to have a major impact on gas
and fuel oil bills. It is also worth comparing
systems based on their CO 2 emissions. Electric
domestic hot water systems also fair much
better here than is generally assumed.
dissipated heat. This is especially the case if
smaller amounts of water are used frequently.
Heating the water directly at the point of use
is simply more advantageous.
With electric power against the tide | Energy
bills and environmental issues provide
stronger reasons than ever to use electric
domestic hot water systems. After all, oil
and gas prices have recently increased
substantially. In this context, electric domestic
hot water systems offer a sensible alternative.
On balance, greater effi ciency | Frequently, the real level of energy
effi ciency is only discovered at the end of the year. Only then do the
many cost factors, such as the domestic hot water circulation pump
used in centralised systems, appear in the year-end bill. These are
seldom marked down as domestic hot water costs. If you also take
often fair better than centralised oil or gas fi red systems. In particular,
decentralised electric domestic hot water systems offer even more
benefi ts – they are practically maintenance-free and enable you to
make simple, consumption-based cost calculations.
INSTANTANEOUS WATER HEATERS
CONVENIENCE THE EASY WAY
An instantaneous water heater can deliver hot water in many different ways. Either
under hydraulic, electronic or fully electronic control. Whatever solution you choose
– instantaneous water heaters from STIEBEL ELTRON can meet any demand. Equally
suitable for very soft or very hard water areas. One thing all models have in common:
All our instantaneous water heaters are very energy-efficient, offer a long service
life and are extremely convenient.

FULLY ELECTRONIC INSTANTANEOUS
WATER HEATERS 38.5°C 100% COMFORT
The business meeting today put me through an emotional roller coaster. At first, both
parties were really on edge. But finally, when the ice was broken, negotiations started to
roll. When I got home I had to get straight into the shower. The water soothingly massages
my neck – at just the right temperature. Hot water at first, then slightly cooler, and
then hotter once more. All at one touch of a button, just the way I like it. A sensuous
torrent of water runs down my back. I just love this particular shower program. I feel my
shoulders relax. My skin tightens up slightly, and all the stress softly ebbs away. I feel
I've earned this little bit of luxury. After all, today we managed to win a new customer.

Wireless comfort remote control
That quality moment | The DHE electronic comfort unit provides water
controlled to the nearest degree. Allow its four functions for good health
to pamper you thoroughly. Thanks to its intelligent fully-electronic
control, water is always available at exactly the required temperature.
On top of that, water and energy savings of up to 20 % can be made,
compared to hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters. Any
fl uctuations in pressure and temperature are actively compensated.
For maximum user convenience, you also get a hard-wired remote
control, or alternatively, a wireless remote control unit. This allows you
to control the DHE electronic comfort system from a different room.
Even installation is amazingly convenient: The unit fi ts in everywhere
– and it can be mounted over or undersink.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL WITH FEELING
Pure pleasure | The DEL electronic LCD shows what it can do: Precise
temperature control down to the nearest degree. You only need to
turn the rotary selector until the required temperature appears in
the LCD display – that's all. The electronically-controlled in stantaneous
water heater captures the fl ow rate as well as the cold and
hot water temperatures accurately and uses these details to regulate
the output. It also compensates for wider pressure fl uctuations. The
DEL electronic LCD unit maintains your required temperature right
up to its performance limit.
Which it continues to do even if something ever goes wrong: The unit
can be installed directly in your shower cubicle. The DEL system is
hoseproof to IP25 and also offers not only many economic advantages,
but also space-saving installations inside the shower cubicle or
above the bath.
Refreshingly frugal | The DHB thermotronic represents and interesting
entry into the comfort class. It offers the output of an advanced
electronic instantaneous water heater at the price of the lower middle
segment. Its energy effi ciency and the convenience of always maintaining
the pre-selected DHW temperature are amongst its primary
benefi ts. Temperature fl uctuations caused by output changes are
prevented. As a result, the shower experience will never lead to cold
shocks. The DHB thermotronic therefore represents pleasant comfort
without extravagance.
Perfectly safe: The unit can be installed directly in the spray range in
your shower cubicle. The DHB thermotronic is hoseproof to IP 25, and
SMALL WATER HEATERS
HOT WATER WHEN YOU NEED IT
Small water heaters free-up space in the kitchen. Both powerful and compact in design,
these water heaters are an affordable source of hot water. Their cost-effectiveness is
especially apparent when small volumes of water are frequently required. Their innovative
thermostop technology and the highly effective insulation ensure minimum standby
losses. The anti-drip function saves water and reduces limescale build-up on taps and
basins. That helps to keep your sink and basin clean.

A REAL HELP IN KITCHEN
AND BATHROOM
Whoever said it's just a children's birthday party should come over and take a look!
Pandemonium! Thankfully we are well stocked-up. Hot water is also always available.
Before, it used to take ages, but now, simply turn on the tap and the water is hot, right
from the first drop. This water heater always has warm or hot water in supply and refills
automatically. What a red hot idea! I wish the fridge could chill things as quickly.

» dripstop | Prevents dripping during
heat-up, saves water, reduces limescale
build-up on taps, sink and basin.
» thermostop | Saves energy and
prevents mixer taps from being
heated in standby mode.
Small – but powerful | The small water heater, SNU 5 SLi dripstop
comfort, convinces in many ways. The temperature inside the device
can be infi nitely selected between + 35 °C and + 82 °C, enabling water
of the same temperature to be drawn off at any time. The optional
temperature limits, that can be set to 38, 45, 55 or 65 °C, act as antiscalding
protection or can be utilised as economy steps.
Easy operation | The exclusive mono-lever tap with retractable rinser
head makes washing larger objects in your sink that much easier.
The water volume and temperature can be easily adjusted with just
one hand. In the form of the elegant bathroom version, the exclusive
basin tap and small water heater create an ideal combination. Not
only that, but one hand always remains free.
SMALL WATER HEATERS
ALL-IN-ONE COMFORT
Perfect control | For assembly above the draw-off point, we recommend
the SN or SH series of small water heaters, subject to whether you need
to supply one or more draw-off points. These heaters are available
with a capacity of 5 to 15 litres. The temperature can be infi nitely
selected between + 35 °C and + 82/+ 85 °C, which means that water
of that temperature is always on tap. The thermal cut-out provides
a permanent, safety-fi rst maximum water temperature. This can
A BATH FOR TWO
At last, it's the weekend. First, do a few chores, then we can take a wonderful bath together.
Today we really need some relaxation. Thankfully now, hot water doesn't travel as far
as it used to. It used to take ages. But these days, the tub fills up amazingly quickly.
I couldn't resist jumping in. It's so wonderfully warm and relaxing. All that stress dissolves
in the hot water and gradually ebbs away. Soon we'll feel refreshed and ready for the
rest of the evening. Maybe then we can find something else to do that is spontaneous
and fun!

Comfort on demand | The SHZ series of wall mounted water heaters
deliver hot water constantly to your home. These cylinders are available
in six different sizes, between 30 and 150 litres. They all have a keypad
on the digital user interface that allows you to set the temperature
accurately, to the nearest degree.
The integral LCD display indicates precisely how much hot water is
available. And more: The LCD display shows you all of the information
you need – from energy use, to the temperature currently programmed,
up to diverse data concerning the current operating status.
The SHZ series of wall mounted water heaters can be installed in open
systems for single draw-off points, or in sealed systems with multiple
IDEAS ON THE WALL
Combining convenience with effi ciency | The HFA-Z is a wall mounted
water heater with a world of possibilities. A very special option is also
available if it is connected as an open, non-pressurised cylinder. Not
only can the HFA-Z be used as a regular wall mounted water heater,
it can also be operated with a single heat-up option. In the latter
operating mode, the cylinder content is heated once to a programmed
temperature of your choice, i.e. up to a maximum of + 82 °C. In this
mode, the heat-up is activated manually via a pushbutton.
The fine adjustment selector allows you to infinitely vary the
temperature at the unit itself. The special enamel coating and highly
effective protective magnesium anode guarantee a long service life.
This wall mounted water heater can be operated both in open and
closed systems, and is available with a capacity of 30, 80, 100 or
FREESTANDING DHW CYLINDERS
A WEALTH OF WARMTH
The large DHW cylinders from STIEBEL ELTRON can satisfy the water needs of the entire
household with ease. The highly effective insulation enables an efficient operation,
especially when using cheaper off-peak tariffs. Innovative corrosion protection combined
with minimum maintenance ensure this cylinder can be in continuous and trouble-free
use for many years. The wide range of advanced freestanding DHW cylinders even offers
a multitude of possible combinations with central heating systems, solar heating
systems and heat pumps.

ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE
Wow – that was good! I think it's great when we all do something together. Even if, later
on, it's a bit topsy-turvy at home. Though everything's just fine in the bathroom. No more
queuing in our house. We can have a bath or a shower at the same time; there's plenty
of hot water to go round. It's a real competition: Whoever finishes last, cleans the bath!

Impressive when it comes to quality, too | The SHW series of
freestanding DHW cylinders with 200, 300 and 400 litres capacity
offer enough backup to heat a whole house.
The sealed DHW heater is made of steel with a special enamel coating
on the inside. Additional corrosion protection is provided by an anticorrosion
rod with signal indicator element.
This makes the SHW ideal for multiple draw-off points. The cylinder is
supplied as standard with a thermometer, signal anode and variable
cold water inlet. Its temperature is infi nitely variable.
Its highly effective insulation keeps heat dissipation to a minimum.
With the option of operating the cylinder with the less expensive
off-peak current, the SHW series of freestanding DHW cylinders are
also ideal as central and economic domestic hot water solutions for
domestic households and commercial use alike. All freestanding DHW
cylinders are easy to retrofi t during renovation work.
WELL SUPPLIED
FROM A STANDING START
Two in one | More and more households are putting their faith in
renewables to cover their heating demand. Freestanding cylinders
SBS 800 to 1500 from STIEBEL ELTRON can act as an important link.
They enable operation with several energy sources. They are buffer
and instantaneous water cylinder (in conjunction with a source for
DHW heating) in one. The highly effective internal indirect coil improves
hygiene, since only a small amount of DHW needs to be kept
hot to supply the entire house with hot water. Supported by environmentally
friendly solar energy: The additional internal indirect solar
coil inside the cylinder (SBS W SOL) allows an additional renewable
source of energy to be integrated into the system. Consequently, this
comb cylinder turns into a genuine power pack in your utility room.
The cylinder is made from steel with an internal corrugated stainless
steel heat exchanger, and can be fi tted as option with highly-effective
insulation for optimum energy effi ciency.
COMMERCIAL USE
IDEAL FOR ANY BUSINESS
Equipment needs to perform quite differently when catering for many people. This is
due to higher volume demands, time constraints and sometimes also a lack of available
space. Our products for commercial use are perfectly matched to such conditions.
Reliable technology and robust construction, that can even withstand the most arduous
continuous use, are further proof of the special quality of all products made by
STIEBEL ELTRON.

HAND DRYERS
HYGIENE IN THE AIR
How work evaporates into thin air | The hand dryer remains the
most hygienic and most economical solution for drying your hands
in a washroom. You neither need to supply and wash towels nor
constantly refi ll and dispose of paper towels. If required, additional
fragrance sticks can even provide a fresh ambience in bathrooms and
toilets. When you chose this dryer you will not only have decided
upon a very hygienic alternative, but you will also save a great deal
of time and money for your business. One hand is always washing
and drying the other, so to speak. The HTE electronic is a real hit, not
least because of its extraordinarily quiet operation. An intelligent IR
proximity sensor switches the unit ON, when you hold your hands
6 to 12 cm under the air outlet. It also provides the OFF control,
when you remove your hands again. The robust casing protects the
delicate technical interior against damage. As does the design, as
this prevents objects, such as cigarette butts, from being deposited
on the casing.
Dry in a jiffy | The HTT series of hand dryers have the strongest breath.
Their enormous air fl ow rate enables them to deliver especially quick
drying times. Their powerful output means that they are also one of
the fastest, most economical and most hygienic of all hand dryers.
Such features make HTT dryers particularly suitable for public toilets
and swimming baths with high usage rates. For example, in railway
stations, airports or bars/restaurants. All HTT models operate with
an electronic IR proximity sensor. This switches the hand dryer ON
when your hands are placed between 6 and 12 cm from the air outlet,
and OFF again when you remove your hands. The robust casing is
made of diecast aluminium with a tough paint fi nish that ensures it
retains its hygienic look over its long service life.
