High Speed Face Mills for
Machining Aluminum
ISCAR is introducing a new generation of high speed
face mills for machining materials such as cast
aluminum alloys, cast iron and carbon fiber materials,
which are used mainly in the automotive
and aerospace industries.
The patent pending cutter body features an aluminum
body with no threads, eliminating weak points in the
body. This ensures tight and reliable clamping of the
cartridge for best performance.
The new method is easily operated, and enables
smooth and accurate adjustment of the cutting point
within 0.002 mm.
A set of radially positioned screws enable balancing
the cutters for high rotational speeds.
