Sometime after they picked up their first instrument, they got into the music. That first one-hour
lesson eventually turned into eight-hour days. Then fifteen to twenty years or 58,400 hours of
training, practice and recitals passed before they auditioned and earned the privilege to play with
79 other highly-skilled musicians.
Considering all the performance and rehearsal time, that adds up to over five million hours directed
in most purposeful fashion to touch your soul. Although many a device has been invented, no
machine, beat box, tape, CD or MP3 player carries the power and passion of 1,600 skilled fingers,
160 gifted hands and 80 human hearts playing great music for a live audience.
