2.1 Project <strong>Energy</strong> Models<br />
Provide energy engineering calculations (as requested) to support energy<br />
targets <strong>and</strong> current analysis of best solutions. Provide calculations as per<br />
instructions above if energy targets cannot be met.<br />
2.2 Define Distributed Generation Systems <strong>and</strong> Renewable <strong>Energy</strong> Goals<br />
Outline project strategies to incorporate distrubuted generation systems, if<br />
feasible. Project teams shall perform a feasibility study of on-site<br />
renewable energy options <strong>and</strong> provide a preliminary technical <strong>and</strong> lifecycle<br />
cost-effective analysis before design begins to identify appropriateness for<br />
the project. During design, report progress as the technical information<br />
matures.<br />
2.3 Report on Use of <strong>Energy</strong> Star Products<br />
Include <strong>Energy</strong> Star rating as a part of the purchase evaluation criteria in<br />
the construction specifications for the selection of building equipment.<br />
After purchase, identify which <strong>Energy</strong> Star or FEMP designated efficient<br />
products were obtained.<br />
2.4 Plans for Solar Hot Water Use<br />
Provide explanation <strong>and</strong> technical backup information as to how the<br />
project will meet this goal. Report on progress during project delivery.<br />
2.5 Metering<br />
Provide information regarding each required meter to meet this goal.<br />
