characters of VIN are WR083596 or higher, child tether<br />
anchorage modifications are not required, otherwise read<br />

Note 3: Some U.S. GM vehicles are equipped with a<br />
feature that can turn off the Daytime Running Lamps<br />
(DRLs) while vehicle is in motion. In <strong>Canada</strong>, DRLs must<br />
be permanently on once vehicle is in motion. The DRL<br />
control system of your vehicle may need to be<br />
reprogrammed to neutralize the feature that permits turning<br />
DRLs off. For more information, please contact a GM<br />
dealer.<br />

Production of GEO passenger cars was discontinued after<br />
model year 1997.<br />

Vehicles equipped with passive restraints do not meet<br />
CMVSS 210, Seat Belt Anchorage location requirements.<br />
Passive restraints are identified as either a motorized<br />
upper torso restraint or a door mounted 3-point restraint.<br />

At federal inspection, the RIV will verify that vehicle is<br />
equipped with daytime running lamps that cannot be turned<br />
off while the vehicle is in motion and that odometer and<br />
speedometer are properly identified. Importer must also<br />
demonstrate that the vehicle is equipped with an electronic<br />
immobilization system for vehicles built AFTER September<br />
1, 2007. Other requirements may also apply.<br />
