Serial interface<br />

The <strong>TC</strong> <strong>60</strong> <strong>RLV</strong> Series is equipped <strong>with</strong><br />

built-in L<strong>TC</strong> and VI<strong>TC</strong> <strong>reader</strong>s, enabling<br />

the conversion of <strong>Time</strong> <strong>Code</strong> into serial<br />

data protocols.<br />

That way, the <strong>Time</strong> <strong>Code</strong> information can<br />

accurately be transferred to a PC.<br />

When reading L<strong>TC</strong> and VI<strong>TC</strong>, time, user<br />

and statusbits are simultaneusly being<br />

processed. The frame rate (24, 25, 30,<br />

30DF) gets automatically identified and<br />

selected.<br />

The serial interface can be either a RS232,<br />

RS422, or USB interface.<br />

Baud rates are selectable from 4800 to<br />

38400 baud.<br />

Different protocols are selectable by DIP<br />

switches:<br />

1. Data transfer after request<br />

2. Automatic transfer after a new<br />

<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Code</strong> is correctly received.<br />

3. Sony RS422 remote protocol<br />

All <strong>TC</strong> <strong>60</strong> <strong>RLV</strong> are shipped <strong>with</strong> an external<br />

power adapter.<br />

Die <strong>TC</strong> <strong>60</strong> <strong>RLV</strong> Serie dient dazu, L<strong>TC</strong> und<br />

VI<strong>TC</strong> zu lesen und auf ein serielles Datenprotokoll<br />

zu übersetzen.<br />

<strong>Time</strong> <strong>Code</strong> kann so framegenau auf jeden<br />

Computer übertragen werden.<br />

Beim Lesen von L<strong>TC</strong> und/oder VI<strong>TC</strong> werden<br />

<strong>Time</strong>-, User- und Statusbits gleichzeitig<br />

ausgelesen. Die Framerate (24, 25,<br />

30, 30DF) wird automatisch erkannt.<br />

Die serielle Schnittstelle kann als RS232,<br />

RS422 oder USB ausgelegt werden.<br />

Baudraten von 4800 bis 38400 Baud sind<br />

einstellbar.<br />

Per DIP-Schalter kann ein serielles Protokoll<br />

ausgewählt werden:<br />

1. Übertragung nach Anfrage<br />

2. Automatische Übertragung aller<br />

gelesenen <strong>TC</strong>-Werte<br />

3. Sony-Rekorder-Protokoll<br />

Bei allen <strong>TC</strong> <strong>60</strong> <strong>RLV</strong> wird ein externes<br />

Netzteil mitgeliefert.
