ASK: “What stood out for you from the broadcast SAY: “As you heard, one of Dr. Bennis’ core beliefs is in the power of crucibles. You had a chance to reflect on those before the broadcast. Let’s talk about that experience.” CONDUCT debrief of Leadership Stories (focus on lessons learned) 20 minutes Psst…here’s a hint! What makes the difference is a leader’s ability to adapt. We’ll be taking a close look at that skill, but first let’s take a moment to get the blood going! Supplemental Framework and Concepts: Adaptive Capability EXPLAIN: Research suggests that exemplary leaders use their crucibles to grow and develop by using four key skills or competencies referred to as the Big Four: REFER to page 19.
