OMHA <strong>Tournament</strong> Package 2012-2013<br />
New Age Classifications for USA <strong>Hockey</strong><br />
Attached is a copy of the new USA <strong>Hockey</strong> Age Classifications for the 2012-13<br />
season.<br />
Please note that USA teams entering in OMHA <strong>Tournament</strong>s must adhere to<br />
OMHA Age Classifications.<br />
Examples:<br />
At AAA, AA and A, a <strong>Minor</strong> Midget will be classified as a player born in<br />
1997 & subsequent years (max. 15 years old)<br />
At BB & below, a <strong>Minor</strong> Midget will be classified as a player born in 1996 &<br />
subsequent years (16 years and below)<br />
A Midget will be classified as a player born in 1995 & subsequent years (17<br />
years and below).<br />
A Juvenile will be classified as a player born in 1993, 1994 & subsequent<br />
years (18 years and below).<br />
Note: Any USA Midget teams with players born in 1992 must enter<br />
tournaments in the Juvenile division.<br />
