GENERAL RULES
1. The competition shall be an open, inter-club
4-H show, with no entry fee.
2. Entries in livestock classes must be 4-H
member’s projects in the current year.
3. Calves must be tied in a designated area
and grouped according to 4-H Clubs, with
each participating club clearly marked.
4. Entries must be in their designated area by
10:00 a.m.
5. Show will start at 10:00 a.m.
6. For entry in the Tie-up Competition, a club
must have at least 3 calves present.
7. Exhibitors in the livestock classes will be
identified by numbers, which must be worn
while in the show ring.
8. Classes will be judged on the group system
of placing unless otherwise specified in the
prize list.
9. The Committee-In-Charge reserves the right
to make adjustments to the program.
10. Northumberland County Showing Dress
Code in effect.
PURPOSE OF THE 4-H SHOW
To supplement and encourage 4-H
activities in the area served by the fair.
To develop new exhibits and improve the
educational value of the fair.
To stimulate the interest of young people
in the fair, and through them,

4-H EDUCATIONAL EXHIBIT CLASS
1. Open to all 2013 4-H Clubs in Northumberland
County.
2. Should be educational and reflect a topic of
interest to the exhibiting club.
3. Each club may place only one exhibit and
each exhibit must be new work, not previously
exhibited.
4. Should be prepared and set-up by the
members on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 between
2:00 & 5:00 p.m..
5. Tables are provided.
6. Entries must be made to the Roseneath Fair
Office two weeks in advance of the fair.
7. Exhibits must be removed between 4:30 &
5:00 p.m. on Sunday of fair weekend.
8. Uniform recognition of $15.00 will be given
to all clubs with credible exhibits.
9. No award will be given if fewer than 3 Clubs
place exhibits.
*INTER CLUB TIE UP COMPETITION*
Each club’s calves must be in
the designated areas
Judging can occur anytime between
10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. on Saturday
