If you think dental ethics is a boring subject, nothing could
be further from the truth!
The purpose of this course is to increase the number of
dentists who have an introductory knowledge in dental
ethics. It is a course that you will use virtually every day in
the dental office. This course in dental ethics is designed
to give you a framework where you can effectively analyze
every dilemma that comes your way.
Educational objectives include:

Have knowledge and understanding of dental ethics at an
introductory level.
Be able to analyze typical ethical issues in terms of
both common ethical theories and The ADA Code of
Professional Conduct.
Be able to use the framework for ethical decisions to lead
discussions on typical ethical issues, including common
ethical dilemmas.
Be familiar with various ethics program types and options.
Be familiar with available resources for dental ethics.

In this course, Dr. Nash will describe various esthetic and
cosmetic modalities available for the indirect restoration of
anterior and posterior teeth. He will demonstrate techniques
through still and video images. Procedures and materials will
be illustrated in step-by-step fashion to give each participant
a working knowledge of new and innovative processes
for providing excellence in esthetics, function and dental
health. He will discuss smile design, occlusal principles,
lab communication, preparation techniques, placement
procedures, finishing protocols and recommendations for
various clinical situations.

For Dentists - Hands-On (limited to 35)
Attendance at the morning session, “Indirect Esthetic
Restorations for the General Pratice,” is required to
participate in the afternoon hands-on course.
During this hands-on course, participants will learn
preparation techniques design for various indirect restorations
such as laminate veneers, all ceramic crowns, CAPTEK
crowns and for inlays and onlays.
Participants are required to bring loops and protective
eyewear. All other supplies will be furnished including a
Nash Institute Bur Kit valued at $195.
Dr. Ross Nash maintains a private practice in Charlotte, North
Carolina where his focus is on esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He
is the co-founder and President of the Nash Institute for Dental
Learning located in Charlotte. He has served as adjunct faculty
member in post graduate training in cosmetic and esthetic dentistry
for many dental schools including Baylor, NYU and Medical
College of Georgia.
