Local restaurant to kick off 10 year anniversary
Music line-up and entertainment announced for Carolina Ale House Throwback Parties
Raleigh, NC - The Carolina Ale House, established in 1999, is kicking off its 10 year anniversary in the same
style that helped build this local restaurant group, with a generous portion of “good times and great food.”
Carolina Ale House invites everyone who helped make the sports themed restaurant a Triangle favorite
(awards on page 2) and encourages new friends to help kick off the next 10 years with several special events.

It started 10 years ago on Creekside Drive in Raleigh with the “Raleigh Ale House.” Owner Lou
Moshakos quickly realized the potential of the concept and, with the help of local agency, vitalink,
rebranded the restaurant as the Carolina Ale House. A second location was then added in Cary on Walnut
Street, which became the template for new stores. 10 years later Carolina Ale House has 7 locations in the
Triangle, including the newest in Terminal 2 at RDU International Airport. A rooftop Carolina Ale House
is in the works for Glenwood South and is expected to open in early 2010. The concept has even grown
beyond the Triangle to include two South Carolina and two Florida locations.
LM Restaurants is the parent company of several award winning restaurants in the Triangle and Wilmington area
(www.lmrest.com.) Carolina Ale House is a family-friendly sports-themed concept with seven Triangle
locations, two locations in Columbia, SC and two in South Florida (Weston and Boynton Beach.) Additional

Bentley’s at Crossroads (Cary) is a casually elegant steak and seafood concept located in Crossroads Plaza.
Formerly of Atlantic Quest, Oceanic (on Wrightsville Beach) offers panoramic beachfront dining and Eddie
Romanelli’s (Wilmington and Leland) offer American Italian cuisine. Henry’s (Wilmington) is a casual
American restaurant and Bluewater (Wrightsville Beach) is a picturesque waterfront grill situated on the
intercoastal waterway. In addition to its restaurants, LM Restaurants also manages Atlantic Quest Catering,
serving the coast of NC and beyond.
