saved that night and have been a follower ever since.
I don’t recall the message that night, but some of
what you said I have seen happen in my life. Keep
up your ministries – we need you.
Importance of memorizing scripture
Dear Jack & Rexella,
As a brand new teenage believer in the early 1970’s,
I attended your crusade meeting in Wichita, Kansas
and still remember what a blessing it was to see you
both and hear you sing and preach, and the impression
you made on me of the importance of memorizing
Scripture.
I’m here to meet Jesus
Dear Jack,
On Nov 1 st , 1972 in Chicago, IL at the McCormick
Place (Arie Crown Theater) I, at age 8 years old,
remember being in the balcony’s back row with my
bag of candy waiting patiently for this crusade to
end. However, something happened that night ...
You said, “If you would like to invite Jesus into your
heart so you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt
that if you died today you would go to heaven, I
want you to come on down and meet with someone
in the front that will pray with you.” Well, I looked
up at this person next to me and said, “Can I go
down there” He said, “Sure.” Well, the next thing
I remember was walking down the center isle of the
complex and you could here a pin drop ... I could see
that you were praying for those who came forward ...
A man (Security person) ran up and said “What are
you doing”, thinking maybe that I was being silly or
something ... I replied, “I’m here to meet Jesus.” He
grabbed my hand ... and there I received Jesus
Christ as my personal Savior. WOW, what a day ...
Thank you for leading me to Christ, Jack. In addition,
when you pray at the end of your TV broadcast,
an 8 year old might have just tuned you in ... Amen
and Amen.
Especially blessed
Dear Jack & Rexella,
I am especially blessed because when I was 15 years
old I accepted Christ as my Savior at your crusade in
Cherry Hill, NY ... I am 53 years old now and love
Jesus more each day.
Continues to serve the Lord
GOD IS GREAT! I was saved at a JVI crusade at
the age of ten years old. I am now forty-one years
old and continue to serve the Lord. I can remember
how your knowledge of the Bible amazed me, and
how I knew that I did not want to spend eternity in
hell. Your knowledge of God’s Word still continues
to warm my heart as we listen to your TV program.
Never back down
Thank you for being there 29 years ago when I
heard you speak in Evansville, Indiana. I was saved
that night and I’ve never forgot about you or you
wife. Please never back down, and keep telling the
truth because I feel much better after I hear you on
your show.
Answered prayer
Dear Jack,
I became a Christian in 1976 at the age of fourteen.
My mother was not a Christian, and I prayed that
the Lord would touch her heart. Two weeks later
the Lord answered my prayer as she became born
again during your crusade at Wings Stadium in
Kalamazoo, MI.
