<strong>Mesa</strong> <strong>Labs</strong> offers Steam and EO D-value or Survival/Kill testing in state-of-the-art BIER Vessels. D-value procedures<br />
used follow USP/ISO and can be obtained via Spearman Karber (fraction negative) method, Survivor Curve (direct<br />
enumeration) or with Stumbo-Murphy-Cochran. <strong>Mesa</strong> can inoculate and perform D-value analysis on small items (e.g.<br />
coupons or stoppers) or we can verify a competitor’s claim for D-value, z-value and population. Isolate identification<br />
services available for most aerobic samples.<br />

Each test contains two (combined) spore strips and a return mailer envelope. One strip is to be<br />
placed in the sterilizer and exposed to a normal cycle. After exposure it should be returned to<br />
the envelope with the control strip and mailed to <strong>Mesa</strong> for culturing. Service includes a report<br />
for your records and immediate notification of a failure. Suitable for Steam, Dry Heat, Chemiclave<br />
® and EO sterilizers (domestic clients only).<br />
