difference between radishes grown in fiber and radishes grown in gravel.
Lettuce Weights in the Floating Raft System
For all three treatments, the majority of the weight of the lettuce came from the shoots of
the plant (Table 4). The greatest total weight was seen in lettuce plants grown in soil, with
gravel close behind. Gravel as a media did not result in great overall growth for lettuce.

Lettuce Weights in the NFT
For all three treatments, a majority of the weight of the lettuce came from the shoots of
the plant (Table 5). Soil noticeably resulted in the greatest overall growth in both leaves and
roots, and thus total weight (14.38 g).
