Government Affairs Committee
Staying Connected With Our Representatives
This important committee is designed
to provide a voice from the business community
on selected issues which impact
business, by observing and reporting on
governmental issues that affect either local
businesses or the community in general
and disseminate the information to
Members. Don Williams, owner of Nelscott
Café, is the new board liaison for the
Government Affairs Committee and has
announced that the committee will meet
the first Tuesday of each month at his café
at 6:00 p.m.

Ahhhhh….summer weather…hasn’t it just been something to crow about So many wonderful events are going on in our

Plan ahead, mark your calendar for October 22 for our first ever Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce fund raising, Artober
Brewfest, to be held at the Lincoln City Cultural Center from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.. A fun day is being planned with art, craft
brews, and food, in conjunction with other surprises in the works. Reserve your 10 x 10 booth space now to get in on the fun.
A hint of things to come…tasty confections from our own My Petite Sweet, beer sausages and brews galore, along with many
artistic creations to tempt you.
Another hugely important event this year was the Red Cross Blood Drive. Sponsored by the Chamber, the Blood Mobile
was at the Chamber parking lot on Friday, September 2 from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. Do you know that a single donation could
