Vacuum Brazing uses a thinner, stronger layer of<br />
bonding alloy to permanently fuse the cutting diamonds to<br />
the substrate. This process leaves up to 30% MORE diamond<br />
cutting face and edges exposed for faster, better and cooler<br />
cutting plus longer cutting life than electroplating.<br />
Electroplating requires a much thicker layer of bonding<br />
material to attach the diamonds to the substrate. The thicker<br />
layer can cover up to 75% of the cutting diamond and result<br />
in more heat buildup and shorter diamond cutting life.<br />
