When a Finnish engineer and orienteer Tuomas Vohlonen invented
the mass production method for the liquid-filled compass in 1936,

TRUBRIDGE
Suunto ambassador William Trubridge is a
world champion and double world record
holding freediver from New Zealand.
William currently holds the world record in
the Free Immersion and Constant Weight
Without Fins disciplines, and is the first
human ever to break the 100 m barrier
unassisted.
In December 2010, William Trubridge dove
100 meters into Dean’s Blue Hole on Long
Island with a single breath of air and only
his hands and feet to propel him down and
up. It was William’s 13th freediving world
record.
The dive attempt, called Project Hector,
was dedicated to the Hector’s dolphin,
which is the littlest dolphin in the world,
and the species is threatened with
extinction.

The extremely compact Suunto SM-36 tank
pressure gauge incorporates a safety-pin-type tube
and a gear mechanism, which provide outstanding
accuracy and durability. The clear and bright
phosphorescent dial face provides excellent
readability, even in demanding conditions.
The SM-36 pressure gauge is suitable for
300 bar/4000 psi tanks and is available with
either bar or psi display (360 bar or 5000 psi max
display). The Suunto CB-One console housing and
Suunto CB-Two In Line console can be fitted with
the SM-36 pressure gauge, or attached directly to
an HP hose.

The superior SK-7 has an exceptional tilt
potential of +/-30 degrees, which is 2 or 3 times
greater than in conventional diving compasses.
The firm-grip bezel with a ratchet at every fifth
degree is specially designed to prevent sand and
dirt contamination, allowing smooth turning in
all conditions.

PLAN AND TRANSFER
With the Suunto DM4 graphical dive planner, it’s easy to
plan dive profiles, gases, and back-up plans. With Suunto
D9tx and HelO 2 you can export planned gases and other divecritical
information to your wristop with the included USB
cable, and you’re ready to go. If you get your gases mixed at
a dive shop, you can print gas mixing instructions.
Download & track
After the dive, download your dive information back to the
computer. Your activity will be recorded in the logbook,
where you can organize and view your dives.
Suunto DM4 is free to download and it automatically updates
to a new version when you are online.
Suunto DM4 is also integrated with Movescount.com. In
Movescount.com you can see all your dives, follow your
progress, add pictures or location maps, and share your
adventures with friends.
