III. FEATURES & BENEFITS FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF OUR PTO’S We use 12mm studs to hold our fl ange on. We also use Ny-Lock nuts. Chelsea uses 3/8 Allen head bolts. (Much smaller bolt than ours) We have a steel fork. Will not break when shifting problems occur. Chelsea uses Aluminum Fork. (Breaks Easy) Muncie uses a steel fork. We use an expandable nut for ajusting the input gear. This provides a slight preload on the bearings for better wear. Chelsea uses shims that take two or three time to install. III. FEATURES & BENEFITS FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF OUR PTO’S Coming Soon! We have a idle pin that uses no set screw. It is also thicker than Chelsea’s and Muncie’s. PTO Ltd. Still uses a set screw that falls out and can ruin a transmission by losing all the oil out of it. We use 12mm Cap Screws to attach our end cover. Chelsea uses 3/8 Cap Screws. We use Ny-Lock nuts for our Flange. We also use a gasket on our output fl ange. No one else does this. III - 33 Back to Table of Contents
