CLASSIFICATION (LOGICAL EMPIRICISM)<br />
Permit an adequate description of <strong>the</strong> objects of science in question<br />
Permit <strong>the</strong> establishment of general laws or <strong>the</strong>ories by means of which<br />
particular events may be explained, predicted and scientifically understood<br />
Objective means intersubjectively certifiable, independent of opinion,<br />
preference on <strong>the</strong> basis of data obtained by suitable experts or observations<br />
“Operational” means unambiguous application by defining descriptive terms by<br />
reference to our operations<br />
